Job Description

Temporary to hire healthcare insurance customer service and eligibility positions at available a rapidly growing, local retiree benefits organization located in Avon, CT. Responsibilities include: - Take inbound and place outbound calls in a call center environment - Answer questions pertaining to retiree benefits, including Medicare and Part D plans - Resolve client issues and respond with prompt follow up to clients as needed - Process all related documentation and paperwork as needed

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have experience with medical retiree benefits, ideally working in an insurance company. Other requirements include: - Prior call center/customer service experience - Detail-orientation and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem solving-skills and ability to think creatively to resolve issues - Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), organizational, and time management skills - Understanding and thorough knowledge of retiree medical benefits, including Medicare and Part D - Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook - Ability to work hours: Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 6:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm,
