Animator

We're looking for a talented Animator to join our creative family and help bring our artistic visions to life.

Job Description:

As an Animator at 9foxlabs, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional animations that elevate our projects. You'll work closely with our creative team to design and produce visually striking and emotionally resonant animations. If you're an animation enthusiast with a passion for storytelling through visuals, we'd love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D and/or 3D animations for use in films, games, advertisements, simulations, and other media projects.


• Collaborate with the art and design teams to understand project requirements and maintain a consistent visual style.


• Produce storyboards and animatics to visualize ideas and concepts.


• Animate characters, objects, and environments with a strong emphasis on performance and emotion.


• Rig characters and objects when required.


• Debug and resolve issues related to animations and rigs.


• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging animation technologies.


• Contribute to the development and execution of project timelines, ensuring on-time animation delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• Proven experience as an Animator, with a portfolio showcasing your animation work.


• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Autodesk Maya, Blender, or similar.


• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and squash-and-stretch.


• Experience with character rigging is a plus.


• Attention to detail and the ability to adhere to project guidelines and deadlines.


• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• A passion for animation and a strong desire to create visually stunning and emotionally resonant storytelling experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.


• Knowledge of 2D or 3D modeling and texturing.


• Previous experience working on and contributing to films, games, or other media projects.
