Accountemps is working with a fast-growing, dynamic team looking for a Financial Analyst who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Located in the Seattle, Washington, area, this Financial Analyst role is a short-term temporary employment opportunity. The strongest candidates for this Financial Analyst position will be able to conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will also be expected to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. Major responsibilities - Create effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and recommendation support - Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations - Flexible candidate that can organize a vast amount of information while managing high expectations - Perform extensive research on the underlying internal and external drivers that are affecting performance and trending - Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans - Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting - Present and monitor forecasting reports - Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance - Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Maintain weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting - Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization If you are interested in applying, please email your resume to [ Email address blocked ] - Click here to apply to Portfolio Insights Analyst
- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable) - Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Excellent problem-solving skills - Microsoft Excel experience - Financial statement preparation experience - Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized - Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds If you are interested in applying, please email your resume to [ Email address blocked ] - Click here to apply to Portfolio Insights Analyst
