About Keystone Hall:

Keystone Hall is a program of Harbor Care in Nashua, NH. The Agency provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment to adults, youth, and families in New Hampshire.

 

Keystone Hall's Mission: To provide comprehensive substance use treatment and recovery services to individuals and families in a supportive environment while providing a strategic framework for substance use prevention in New Hampshire.

  

Job Summary:

This position reports directly to Program Managers and may provide behavioral interventions to persons with serious and persistent mental illness.

The Support Staff – duties shall include, but not be limited to; assisting with apartment inspections, assisting with in-office paperwork, ensuring receipt of treatment plans and following-up with phone calls of treatment plans, assisting with scheduling Functional Support Services (FSS), and providing direct mental illness management services to clients as assigned and approved by Program Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychiatry, Counseling Psychology, and/or Social Work is required
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field such as Mental Health or Substance Use Disorders
  • Computer skills required
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to pass Medicine Administration Training

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of major mental illnesses and appropriate treatment interventions.
  • Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders.
  • Knowledge, understanding and application of appropriate treatment interventions and ethical standards.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
  •   Candidate should possess sound judgment and excellent boundary skills.

Knowledge/Abilities/Requirements:

  • Ability to interface well with others.
  • Physical requirements include ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction; pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
  • Ability to perform repetitive or routine duties working from detailed instructions and under standard procedures.
  • Requires making decisions.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
  • Ability to assist consumers in accessing community services (transporting to other agencies etc)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer or observe the passing of medications.
  • Ensure safety and well-fare of all residents and clients.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for emergency response.
  • Notify on-call manager immediately of any urgent/emergent issues or incidents.
  • Treats all residents and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
  • Primary functions include activities in which incumbent must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to clients, and coworkers.
  • Assist with in-office paperwork, data entry and/or copying.
  • Assist with consumer file maintenance. Assist with compiling data for and/or assist with writing grants for the program.
  • Attend staff meetings and/or trainings as required.
  • Complete any other special projects assigned by Program Manager (or designee).
  • Other duties may be assigned.
