Our client, a modern state-of-the-art aerospace machine shop in Hartford County, seeks an experienced Aerospace Inspector with the following experience:
FIRST PC. INSPECTION-
Check First pcs. For dimensional accuracy using various gages, plate layout procedure, manual CMM and programmable CMM.
Be sure that the correct gaging has been assigned and is being used.
Layout part if necessary to be sure future operations will clean-up
Check parts at machines and throughout the manufacturing process to insure dimensions are correct.
Do sample inspection as necessary.
Follow IMS sheets, bubbled P.O., RCC, QAD and AS9102 paperwork to document all dimensions and requirements.
Insure that all materials are correct and to the latest revision requirement. Client-out the material to make sure all finished features will be met.
Document and Contract Review
P&W Specs & Requirements (PW310, PW360)
Check Latest Revision of Part versus Drawing & P.O.
AMS Specs (AMS 4928, AMS 5662)
NDT's (FPI, PTM)
Coatings (Anodize, Plate, Plasma)
Review of Processes
Check for correct marking
Check for outside services
Check for correct sampling plans
Correct Gaging assigned
Proper Inspection Criteria (do we need CMM inspection etc.)
AS9100 SPECS AND PROCEDURES
