Report to: Customer Support Manager

Salary Rate: DOE

Supervisory Responsibility: No

Working Hours: 4:45pm~2:00am (During Daylight Saving Time: Spring ~ Summer) / 3:45pm~1:00am (Fall ~ Winter)

The working hours will be switched to 1:00pm~10:00pm later in 2019.

OVERVIEW:

A global consumer goods (cosmetics) company is looking for a Japanese bilingual customer support agent.

The position requires a strong Japanese bilingual skill to communicate with customers in Japanese via emails and phones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (NOT OFFICIAL: PLEASE ASK FOR MORE DETAILS DURING YOUR INTERVIEW)

1.      Customer support duties

• Provide customer support via phone and email (Only inbound. No outbound sales calls)

• Order intakes by telephone, mail, and fax

• Apply changes of orders and member registration information requested by customers

• Provide information about products to inquiries

• Provide consultation to customer’s skin trouble types

• Data input to record conversation notes of each call

• Other related customer service duties

2.      Supervisory duties

• Manage call volumes and work distribution and quality management to customer support operators

• Handle escalated inquiries and issues from customers

• Provide support to operators to make sure the team can carry out operations with the company’s mission, vision and value

• Find operational problems and report to management for improvement

• Support the department growth through interviews, recruitment and training.

QUALIFICATIONS

Japanese bilingual skill (reading/writing/speaking/listening)

3+ years of working experience in the office environment highly preferred

Customer service supervisory/lead experiences
