Job DescriptionJob Description/Purpose:
Identify, develop and close new business opportunities on a Major Service Provider Account Team (Comcast) with a major emphasis on positioning Juniper's Vision, Strategy and Architecture. Meet and/or exceed predetermined sales and services quota and key objectives while operating within Juniper's guidelines. Develop and/or expand relationships with customer's Engineering, Architecture, and Planning teams to drive Juniper's business and company strategy. Work closely with Account Team Leader and internal JNPR organizations to communicate a strategy for the Juniper-client engagement that drives sales. Work with the Account Leader to develop and implement an account plan consistent with these objectives, participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), track progress toward shared goals, and to review customer issues, challenges, and success factors. Skills and Experience:
-BS/BA preferred or equivalent, 10 plus years proven successful sales experience exceeding targeted objectives in the IP/MPLS edge/aggregation and Core routing, and Security environment.
-Successful experience in driving a technical sales agenda with key customer organizations such as Network Planning, Architecture, and Engineering is required.
-Must have experience in developing creative sales strategies, account plans, preparing proposals, and presenting Network solutions.
-Must have outstanding verbal and written and presentation skills, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task on multiple sales campaigns at once.
-Must have a technological understanding of IP/MPLS routing, Data Center Switching, and Security products.
-Juniper technical certifications and or Juniper-specific routing expertise is also a plus.
-Must have the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and a strong team player.
-Ability to travel is a must.About Us
