Job Description
Chubb Personal Risk Services is the select partner to successful individuals and families in the management of their financial and risk needs. Personal Risk Services is seeking a Vice President, Digital Product leader to refine, expand and drive a digital product strategy to addresses our clients’ interests in protecting their property, financial assets and mitigating liability.  We are looking for an experienced professional that will focus relentlessly on a range of defined clients’ needs, working with user experience designers to craft digital product experiences and capabilities. She/he will be a key influencer and orchestrator of the digital product vision and strategy. This leader will be responsible for translating the voice of the client and partnering with design, IT, and business leaders to set strategy and define the digital product. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital products, strategy and proven ability to “roll up their sleeves” and drive successful outcomes. The Digital Product leader will ensure the digital product design is flexible, efficient, and workable within the context of the Personal Insurance regulatory environment differences across client segments, states, and countries.

Core Responsibilities
  • Define and manage Personal Risk Services digital product strategy and roadmap and effectively translate the strategy via communications relevant to multiple stakeholder groups
  • Develop digital product budget to enable achievement of the roadmap; track and ensure actuals are true against forecast
  • Drive digital product(s) client experience development from conceptualization through launch, i.e., scoping projects, creating actionable work plans with clear and measurable success criteria and metrics, leading work streams and executing tactics in a timely and effective manner, and keeping stakeholders abreast of trade-offs and factors with the potential to impact project scope
  • Collaborate and liaise with senior management, IT, operations, subject matter experts, UX, other product teams, external partners, e.g., clients and agents, and business development partners to determine use cases, analyze data and conduct experiments, (i.e., A/B tests), and select features and functions in priority order to improve the client experience and business metrics
  • Ensure business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned by driving productive discussions that surface conflicts of interest and that lead to clear decisions and paths forward
  • Document digital product requirements documents that reflect marketplace, functional, and system requirements and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to business and development teams
  • Solve ambiguous problems, drive escalation and issue resolution, and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks that impede progress
  • Partner with UX to define optimal outcomes for qualitative testing, ensuring we are building the an optimal digital product experience for a diverse range of client cultures
  • Define metrics for success and create dashboards to measure and monitor key metrics
  • Continuously review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved mechanisms for visibility, ensuring the digital product program is aligned with organization objectives and evolving opportunities in the competitive landscape
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a tenacious, ambitious self-starter with a passion for inventing and reinventing digital client experiences.  Proven analytical capabilities, superior persuasive communication skills, broad business experience, and the tenacity to develop ideas independently will be central to this person’s success. In addition, we’re looking for someone who has:
 
  • 10+ years of relevant digital product management experience
  • Knowledge and a passion from emerging technologies and how they empower businesses to deliver great products
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in financial services a plus, but more important is the ability to learn fast, ask questions and solve problems
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent consumer facing digital products
  • Proven strategic thinking and ability to dive deeply into specific functional areas and learn what’s necessary to succeed
  • Proven ability to innovate and come up with ideas to help drive product forward
  • Ability to lead change and adapt quickly changing business landscape
  • Proven ability to understand the business and IT and get into the technical details
  • Ability to assume ownership in an atmosphere of ambiguity, act on own initiative, and be proactive
  • Superior story-telling and communication skills at all levels
  • Strong team management, leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups
  • Ability to analyze data, evaluate detail and draw appropriate conclusions
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to focus on key issues and drive initiatives to conclusion
  • Ability to build relationships & foster partnerships across multiple disciplines
  • System knowledge and systems enhancement expertise
  • Excellent project management skills – delivery oriented
  • Exposure to projects utilizing Agile (SCRUM) preferred
