RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, an exciting NYC, New York (NY) based cutting edge marketing/promotions/public relations firm is searching for a Staff Accountant to join a dynamic team of professionals. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager in preparing the monthly financial statements and all underlying accounting records. This is a fun, dynamic work environment with a bright future.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Accounting
  • 1 - 3 years of hands on small to mid-sized corporate accounting experience
  • Experience with Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries, accounts payable and receivable and general ledgers
  • Public relations or other service business environment would be a plus, but are not required
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
