Position Responsibilities

Deltek + ComputerEase is seeking an Account Executive to work on our dynamic team located remotely from a home office. If you have a curiosity for solving business problems, a passion for making others successful, and the ability to articulate the return on investment of industry leading project and accounting software across multiple stakeholders, than this could be the role for you. 

  • Sell ComputerEase’s ERP solutions to business owners, principles, executives and/or key stakeholders at construction firms.
  • Consistently generate revenue and exceed quota by prospecting, networking, presenting Deltek's value propositions, negotiating pricing and closing sales to prospect firms in your territory.
  • Ability to work with a cross functional team including Sales Engineers, Services Solution and Delivery, Product Marketing and Support to provide a complete solution and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in and driving a predictable sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Maintain high number of weekly new prospect meetings.
  • Use best practice techniques and methods from frameworks such as Challenger, Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, Strategic Selling or SPIN Selling to drive successful sales cycles.
  • Develop customers who can be used as positive references for future prospects.
  • Identify the need for and proper use of internal and external resources (sales support staff), taking those opportunities to deepen your own product knowledge.


  • 3+ years’ experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Account Management, Inside Sales or related field (ERP software sales experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry is a plus.
  • B2B sales experience.
  • Should have a working knowledge of or similar CRM with the ability to maintain accurate records and research the company’s prospect database.
  • Basic presentation skills utilizing web meeting technology, PowerPoint and phone conferencing systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding metrics based sales plans.
  • Demonstrated skills and training in professional sales methodology such as Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, Strategic Selling or SPIN Selling.
  • Knowledge of basic college level accounting or higher.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and personable phone skills. Willingness to take ownership of any client issue and work outside of one's comfort area.
  • Demonstrable high level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity in selling both SaaS and On-Premise software a plus.
  • Able to travel as needed
  • Possesses an “athlete” mentality which thrives on positive competition, constant training and learning as well as the ability to candidly assess personal performance and provide mentoring and coaching to peers to maximize performance of the team
