Automation Analyst

The Automation Analyst will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders across our business lines to develop Intelligent Automation and Digital Solutions to improve revenue cycle performance for our customers. This person should expect to perform as a “CEO” of your automation portfolio, and are responsible for the entire inception, design, delivery, and value realization of a given initiative
In this role, the successful candidate will manage the end-to-end project development lifecycle that results in the successful adoption of automated digital solutions and direct accountability for Agile Development Pods. Your team is focused on enabling technology through Automation, Machine Learning, and other Digital Solutions that maximizes our clients’ value chain and increases patient satisfaction. The role will directly report through the Product Managers within the Digital Transformation Office, and then through the Director of Digital Transformation. R1’s Digital Transformation Office is comprised of deeply passionate and experienced professionals who guide clients through their most complex challenges. We work with clients and help them deliver best in class revenue cycle services that improves financial performance while maximizing patient satisfaction.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated extreme ownership in previous project delivery, including well-defined value realization targets and achievements.
Responsibilities:

Manage work throughout entire execution to ensure success by adherence to standards of scope, value realization targets, and timeline
-
Develops comprehensive project plans that merge business requirements with technology goals
-
Owns and facilitates all Agile activities, including coordination of various technical personnel during all delivery phases
-
Owns the backlog and prioritization of work to ensure accurate and timely delivery within communicated timeframes and according to customer needs

Defines sprint goals and user stories with clear acceptance criteria

Communicates with appropriate teams and stakeholders to remove blockers and define requirements for Automation Engineering and Developer Operations

Assists the teams to meet the objectives of each sprint, working to improve each sprint iteration

Review proposed modifications on delivery plans, including scope change and change requests, and ensures approval and re-alignment to the roadmap

Ensure delivery teams are engineering customer requirements in a way that aligns with the vision

Ensure product standards and optimal data structures are being followed in all builds / enhance existing standards as necessary
Required Qualifications:
-
2+ years in revenue cycle operations, healthcare operations, management consulting, or related fields, including software implementation, product management, business analysis, or scrum master roles (quality & relevant internship experience may be considered)

Understanding of various healthcare-related technologies

A proven track record of working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, and execute against an implementation plan

Excellent project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advanced MS Office (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)

Business Case Development and ability to communicate findings to multiple levels of leadership within internal operations
Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Security, IT Operations/Administration, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
