About This Position:

Are you looking for a career that will invest in your professional development?

In this role you will: prospect and meet with new clients in your specified territory, develop new sales strategies, and maintain high productivity levels alongside your teammates. You will work to enter client and prospect information to agency tools, and service member with any carrier questions.

What to Expect:

  • Salaried W-2 position, with potential incentives.
  • Schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm from Monday through Friday, with hours varying during the Open Enrollment Season taking place November 1, 2021 - January 15, 2022. Open Enrollment Season will require agents to work Saturdays and have a flexible schedule to work with client appointments (evening hours, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving business through active prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
  • Providing solutions for clients through fact gathering and needs analyses.
  • Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance products.
  • Expanding personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow agents and service team.
  • Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy.


  • Minimum of 2 years of health insurance experience (preferred)
  • FFM certification (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus
  • Market development/networking abilities
  • Presentation and organization skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Must Have:

  • ACTIVE Texas General Lines Life and Health License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Cell Phone
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check.
