Modis San Francisco, CA Full-Time
Title: Product Owner

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ months contract (chance of extension possible!)

Job Description:


Understand how our end-users interact with different channels (Push, SMS, Email, Voice, Chat) Collaborate with key partners (CRM deployment, global CRM, ops, design, legal, finance etc) to prepare the product for launch and drive maximum impact Develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, and project-manage implementation Provide end to end documentation and support for Comms Platform Track core business metrics related to the product Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by the product post-launch Drive continuous improvement to the engagement models between product, engineering and business stakeholders teams Ensure functional partners are aligned on key objectives for the program/product Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvements and inform product roadmaps

Required Skills:

Data Driven - Leverage data to align teams and drive strategic decisions. You always get the data you need, and distill it into insightful stories. Customer Empathy - Think about the "why" before the "what". You are passionate about always making the user experience positive and unwilling to allow product challenges to impact users negatively. Technical skills - Ability to inform and evaluate engineering decisions across back-end services and mobile SDKs A never-ending desire to grow and learn. You never give up and set a high bar across the board, from your own contribution to the people you work with. High Team Spirit - humble leader who believes that personal goals can only be accomplished if the team accomplishes its goals. Celebrate instead of blaming. Passionate about the different initiatives worked on, energized by forming and driving great ideas to market, strategic thinker and ability to see product opportunities when others are lost in noise and ambiguity. Build strong relationships within the organization and a keen sense of how to navigate both internal and external hurdles

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, marketing solutions or similar analytical role Basic understanding of how different communication channels (Email, Push, SMS, Voice, Chat) work. Large scale, global project management experience Has prior experience prioritizing projects across multiple stakeholders based on business impact, creating product roadmaps, and communicating product vision and results to leadership and stakeholders. Experience with working with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Data Science and Analysts Strategic alignment, able to bring key partners across functions together Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork Deep understanding of the user experience Ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions Ability to clearly and succinctly present information to an internal and external audience Persuasive written and verbal communication skills across diverse functions and teams Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working on global projects, or in an international setting Analytical expertise is a plus Basic understanding of technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, or Hive, iOS / Android ecosystem, SMS ecosystem, Email ecosystem.
