Position Summary

Under direct supervision, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing a variety of routine customer service and accounting transactions accurately and on time for multiple facilities.
This position is a Multi plant responsibility and requires technical expertise and the ability to work with little supervision.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Respond courteously and accurately to all incoming calls regarding order changes, inventory availability and all other customer inquiries for multiple plant locations.
  • This position also coordinates all orders for Chipotle Mexican Grill regardless of the producing plant.
  • Travels between multiple plants.
  • Work with Plant Material/Scheduling and Shipping Managers to insure timely communication flow between OSI and the Customer. Provide shipment/Order updates as necessary.
  • Gather, enter and confirm all incoming sales orders including Chipotle and Whole Foods orders from multiple locations.
  • Determine and allocate sales between facilities according to established guidelines. Update and maintain sales history databases and spreadsheets.
  • Check daily sales pricing from orders; reconcile those process with information obtained from the
  • shipping/receiving department. Enters sales pricing into SAP.
  • Research export requirements, validate information with supervisor, and complete required documents for exports.
  • Enter freight accruals and payments. Updates freight tracker spreadsheet for Campbell’s.
  • Work with the shipping and receiving departments for multiple facilities to ensure that customer orders are, and can be, filled as requested.
  • Log of chep pallets
  • Responds to credit requests from customers. Maintains credit request logs. Maintains credit request accruals for plant. Processing of credit Memo’s and facilitation approval of said requests.
  • Distribute, file and maintain forms and records related to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Back up for accounts payable

  • Three to five years in a customer service role to include phone experience
  • Two years of clerical experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment working with financial, inventory, or purchasing
  • Ability to create and edit basic Word and Excel files.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others within the department and across functions as well as external customers.
