Technical Expert - Electrical pumps and filters
This position is a Technical Expert (LL6) position leading the design and development of BEV and ICE electrical epumps and filters.

Author and maintain epump and filter engineering specifications
-
Author and maintain epump and filter Design rules and RQTs and associated health charts
-
Co-Lead technical peer reviews with component supervisor
-
Mentor epump and filter D&R engineers across the various global regions
-
Create/maintain Generic FMA documentation
-
Support problem solving efforts and risk assessments for warranty, transmission plant, DV/PV issues
-
Conduct supplier manufacturing process reviews and recommend best practices
-
Conduct benchmarking to optimize epump/filter designs for future programs
-
Work with systems teams to drive SSDS updates as it pertains to epumps/filters and cascade down to component level engineering specifications.

Provide Technical leadership in Electro-Hydraulic and Electronic components
-
Continue to develop and leverage hydraulic modelling capability to maximize efficiency and minimize cost – aids both mechanical and electric oil pump design.

Conduct training sessions

BS-Engineering required
-
MS-Engineering preferred
-
Extensive component engineering design & release experience in electric epumps and filters.

Extensive knowledge & experience with associated Manufacturing and quality processes
-
Required leadership skills - quality focused as #1 priority, innovative, excellent communicator, strong organizational skills , highly motivated self starter
