****%24500 sign on bonus to anyone hired between August 3, 2020 and August 31, 2020. The sign on bonus will be paid in %24100 increments with %24100 paid upfront on the first check after hired and then %24100 paid each month following until the total %24500 is reached. Each new hire is also eligible for the current Spruce Peak employee referral program for all housekeeper recruits they refer that are hired and complete at least 30 days of employment.

The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast paced position. There are 3 roles within housekeeping that might be performed.

The Custodian is responsible to maintain cleanliness of all the public areas of the resort and at the Alpine Club, Cottage and Pantry/Beanery following Spruce Peak standards. In addition, the Custodian refreshes and maintains the cleanliness of the area around the resort and performs special projects for the Housekeeping Staff and does so without disrupting any of the daily functions of the resort or without disturbing guests. This is a full-time, year-round position.

The House Attendant is responsible for assisting Room/Turndown Attendants on guest floors as needed and responsible for aiding with the cleanliness in all areas of the hotel following Spruce Peak standards while also answering and responding to guest calls and requests. In addition, the House Attendant, works special projects for the Housekeeping Staff. The House Attendant performs job duties without disrupting any of the daily functions of the hotel and without disturbing any guests. This is a full-time, year round position.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred
  • Experience in high volume establishments
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer service experience
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, squat, bend, use full range of motion with arms and legs and stand for 8+ hours
    Must be able to lift 25lb or more continuously
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a flexible schedule to include both weekend days and holidays.
