Under the general direction of the VP Applications, the System Director IT, Business Applications directs the IT services for business systems across the system. Responsible for management, maintenance, upgrade and enhancement of the enterprise systems such that they meet performance and availability standards set for them. Responsible for strategy development, change management, and planning IT services in conjunction with departmental leadership to ensure that systems and services meet business and operational needs of those departments. Responsible for positioning the organization with appropriate information technology applications to react proactively to changing healthcare demands. Ensure the development and implementation of systems which support the effective and efficient flow of patient information across the system and maximize financial and clinical performance. The System Director works with direct report managers on growth and development of staff, and for the growth and development of the managers. Responsible for managing the human resource processes for the staff, including justification requests for new positions, filling vacancies and advancement or other HR processes for staff.



Qualifications

4 year/ Bachelor's Degree: Information Systems or Business Administration (Required)

Master's Degree: Business Administration or Healthcare Administration (Preferred)

Experience and Skills:

Understanding and experience in revenue cycle within a hospital is critical.

Hospital applications leadership experience is also critical.

6-7 Years Experience in related healthcare position (Preferred)

7+ Years Computer systems experience 

7+ Years IT Management experience 

Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word (Required)
