Foundations Behavioral Health provides behavioral rehabilitation services (BHRS). This service is unique given that clinicians help individuals/families with behavioral health problems by providing serves in a more natural environment including homes, schools, and community locations.
The primary goal of BHRS is to assist the child/adolescent in functioning more adaptively and efficiently in the home/school/community while guiding the parent/guardian to address the problematic behaviors in a more effective and constructive manner. The intent of BHRS is to promote treatment in the natural, least restrictive environment. The purpose is to offer new alternatives to the child/adolescent and the family that promotes problem solving, skill building, competency, empowerment, and self-sufficiency.
Foundations Behavioral Health provides Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services (BHRS) in the five counties: Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware and Chester.
The Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) is an independent contractor position within our (BHRS) program. The TSS provides behavioral and emotional support to children and adolescents in their homes, schools, and other community settings by implementing the treatment plan to promote positive, socially appropriate behavior. The TSS is responsible for recording data and charting progress.
The TSS can provide part or full time hours on their own availability. Evening and weekend availability is a plus. The TSS Is an ideal entry-level position for recent college graduates (psychology, sociology, criminal justice, and human development) to gain experience in the mental/behavioral health field.
Applicants must have a B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Education, or other Human Service field. No experience is required
B.A. or B.S. in any major plus one year’s paid experience working with children/teens
At least 60 credit plus 3 year’s paid experience working with children/teens
Education and experience will be verified
Access to reliable transportation is necessary
Weekly paid supervision is required.
We offer supervision in Doylestown, Friends Hospital in Philadelphia and Broomall
