West Oaks, located in southwest Houston, is a fully accredited 144 bed acute care facility and 16 bed adult CD residential facility dedicated to the provision of quality care and assistance for individuals and families in need of psychiatric care and treatment for substance abuse. West Oaks Hospital offers the community a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults. West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Intake Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Purpose: To provide nursing care, medical screening, and triage to all psychiatric, chemical dependency and head injury rehabilitation patients presented for assessment and evaluation. To facilitate the admission process for inpatient, partial and/or intensive out patient programs and to facilitate referrals for outpatient services, and other community resources.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either through ADN, Diploma or BSN Program.
Current Texas State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. CPR certification.
Inpatient psychiatric experience with adults or residential experience with children or adolescents preferred.
