Robert Half Finance is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk. This role requires you to match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, perform data entry tasks and facilitate the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). The Accounting Clerk position is a full-time opportunity and is situated in the Baldwin, Wisconsin, area. How you will make an impact - Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes - Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources - Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, using manual or electronic methods - Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching filing - Assist with general accounting and administration tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects - Assist in budgetary control by monitoring budgets and originating or verifying adjustments and transfers - Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance - Ensure accuracy of transaction documents, and revise other documents or entries as needed; may initiate other actions - Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts - Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

- Proven knowledge of Excel and SAP - AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred - Expertise in job costing - Solid understanding of Epicor - Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work - Excellent data entry skills - Entry-level applicants considered
