Procurement Process Associate (Hybrid Work Schedule)

General Description:
The Procurement Process Associate will bridge the gap between business areas, stakeholders, suppliers and the Procurement department to ensure corporate business requirements are met. They will perform task aligned to the accountabilities listed below. This position will not be limited to specific task and would be asked to perform ad-hoc procurement task at the guidance of Procurement managers and the Procurement Director. This position will be on a hybrid work schedule, working three days in the office and two days from home.
Main accountabilities:
* Create Purchase Orders in SAP-MM
* Perform Supplier Qualifications for EDPR NA platform
* Test, extract and transform sensitive data to be loaded into SAP system
* Facilitate local process GAP demonstrations with key users and business analyst
* Provides local Procurement and P2P reports to EDPR NA executive team
* Maintain local automation processes for Procurement and P2P
* Liaison to Accounting, Finance, HSE and Legal departments
* Provides 1st level SAP support to all Business Areas through training and coaching
* Works directly in SAP to provide Super User support to EDPR NA
* Responds to Procurement request via Appian request tool.
* Analyze and deliver reports from Appian and SAP Procurement data
* Responds to 50+ SAP/Procurement daily inquiries within 1-2 business days
* Additional Procurement duties as required
SAP Accountabilities:
* Acting as a bridge between the Business area and the SAP Development teams, across North America, Europe and Latin America while participating and leading company project rollouts.
* Plan and conduct gap demonstrations for key users while performing acceptance tests, end-user training and additional end-user support after go live.
* Provide service as support consultant (SAP, Business Warehouse, Appian and Power BI applications and additional applications) for all procurement processes related but not limited to procurement to pay, contracts and inventory.
* Testing, Extracting, transforming and loading sensitive data into the SAP system, completing validation, verification and importing vendor, material and tax-related information.
Business Accountabilities:
* Supply chain process management, handling vendors, customers, assuring compliance with both legal requirements and the company's budget goals. Improvement of internal processes, yielding productivity increase and internal expenses reduction.
* Develop automatic purchase order (MM-PUR), purchase requisition (MM-PUR) processes for movement of materials in stock. Identifying of gaps, creation of functional documentation, technical documentation, unit and integrated test, training material, hands-on configuration with materials management.
* Develop enhancements and manage small projects, analysis of viability, design, testing, metrics, post-deployment support and customizing related to Procurement and Purchase to Pay processes
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in field
* 5+ years of related purchasing experience
* 5 - 7 years SAP Experience
* SAP Power User
* Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office software (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); some knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred
* Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred

* Ability to quantitatively analyze data derived from different software platforms, present results visually and qualitatively
* Maintain professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
