ITAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Portfolio Architect for a great company in the Washington DC area. This is an onsite position.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

The Portfolio Architect will be responsible for communication with the customer and must maintain the relationship by resolving any conflicts. Solutions will be developed and implemented through coordinated and planned events. Ongoing monitoring and reviews ensure the solutions meet business and customer needs and expectations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all project stakeholders
  • Design and create IT enterprise architectures
  • Create enterprise architecture models and appropriate documentation
  • Lead all phases of solutions planning, development and implementation
  • Work with the team to support customers and improvement by enhancing the EA knowledge base of standards, and best practices
  • Support development utilizing data (structured/unstructured/semi-structured)
  • Support architectures to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and priorities
  • Implement ‘Fit-for-Purpose’ at multiple levels
  • Deliver project requirements on time and within budget
  • Develop detailed schedules, resource plans, and estimates to implement solutions
  • Produce detailed status reports and briefings to document project progress
     

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

Must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated.

Must already possess or be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

  • Strong management and leadership skills Enterprise architecture experience (design and development)
  • Experience developing plans and strategies and to enhance available software and hardware tools
  • Experience in creating documentation and diagrams including network topology
  • DevSecOps experience
  • Cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST
  • Knowledge of supporting an ATO review and documentation development
  • Experience identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks and issues
  • Strong communication and people skills


Preferred Skills

  • SAFe experience a plus
  • Human Centered design a plus

Education/Certifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • ITIL certification preferred (not required)
  • Agile / SAFe certification preferred (not required)
  • Working in Veterans Affairs or other Federal agency highly preferred
