Apex Systems is looking for a Lab Tech for a contract role in the STL area.

We are actively seeking a highly motivated individual for two contractors to join our rapidly growing organization in our Trait discovery and Genome editing Department.  This contract will run from Feb 15th to Jun 30th (date subjected to shifting).

You’ll make an impact by: (Responsibilities/Projects)

Assisting in collecting large dataset for genotyping/ phenotype in greenhouse

Assisting in large scale sample and data organization

Keeping quality electronic data record

You have:

B.S. in Biological sciences or agronomy related field.

Some half-day weekend work may be required.

Passion for plants, willing to learn and ready to take on challenges.

Ability to work creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up company environment.

Positive attitude and work well within a cross function group of greenhouse and lab.

Demonstrated an adaptable, attentive and thorough work ethic.

Excellent planning, organization and execution skills.
