Position Description:

Our client is a Large Financial Company located in Jersey City, NJ that is looking for a Front-End Developer to fill a 6 month contract position.

Primarily responsible for designing, developing and testing.

• You are an Engineer with hands on experience in Front End Development
• You think “Digital”, incorporate digital in your everyday life, enjoy being an early adopter of tech and have informed and educated opinions about digital technology.
• You are receptive and enthusiastic towards accepting ownership for accomplishing new and challenging assignments and exploring opportunities to grow as a technology professional.
• You thrive on providing the best user experience to the customer.
• You can play multiple roles in a Scrum team including Design, Analysis, Development and Testing.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

5+  years’ of professional experience working on multi-tiered web applications

Hands-on experience with Angular 2+, Typescript, HTML, CSS and Javascript

Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):

Experience with additional Javascript frameworks

Previous experience working within the financial services industry

Experience with Java/RESTful Web Services development

Additional Requirements:

Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test
