Finance Transformation PMO Lead - Americas
Eatons Electrical Sector Americas, Program Management Office (PMO) is looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to join the team. This position could be based remotely from any location in the United States and will require 25% travel.
The primary function of Americas Finance Transformation PMO Lead at Eaton is to define and enable the customer journey, financial processes, priorities & business systems across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, & Finance functions.
This role is responsible for defining the transformation strategy, requirements, & process design that helps the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, & Finance organizations, while acting as the primary liaison with Finance organization helping them achieve their future state. The role is required to navigate ambiguous challenges requiring fluency across three disciplines Technology, Finance, and Project Management.
Essential Functions:
Understand the current finance environment, key finance efficiency and effectiveness metrics across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering & Finance, and drive the industry analysis for best practices and trends to be adopted.
Serve as the primary liaison representing Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering & Finance in major cross-functional initiatives.
Works with Finance stakeholders and other cross-functional business partners to define the end state business architecture and innovative business solutions for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering & Finance functions.
Lead and influence prioritization of capabilities, roadmaps, and business requirements for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering & Finance organization.
Support workstreams within the context of a larger effort, gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing actionable recommendations.
Operate in a complex and dynamic environment to enable and scale critical Finance capabilities through various strategic/enterprise programs supporting enterprise growth strategy across all Eatons business lines, segments.
Collaborates and influences IT/engineering teams and other cross-functional systems teams during process and technical design to optimize stakeholder/end user experience and support implementation of business solutions
Define finance capability road map that achieves the business objectives.
For assigned initiatives, lead the process design of current state, capture pain points, define future state, and business/product requirements (BRD)/user stories for new Finance capabilities as well as enhancements.
Supports SMEs and operations teams in solutions testing including identifying the test use cases, execution of testing, and bug resolution/review.
Create and maintain an inventory of core finance processes, systems, and tools. Develop a baseline understanding of all existing finance processes.
Support change management, stakeholder communication, and user training during project/product delivery phases.
Provide regular status updates, highlight risk and issues to leadership.
Partners with global and regional Finance teams and IT/engineering teams on change control and compliance processes as needed
Provide data analysis support to business verticals. Collaborate with the data analytics team to define data requirements, validate data metrics
Develop, define, create, and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Mentor program management teams (Division, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Centers of Excellence) to drive standardization of processes and best practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related from an accredited institution.
Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, having led programs leveraging globally standard business architecture and methodologies for business or product management
Proven track record of managing and delivering successful enterprise-wide, business transformation, and multi-disciplinary change initiatives (focus within the Finance organization a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree preferred
Position Criteria:
Expert in program management Waterfall, Agile experience a plus
Significant experience in process design, VSM, continuous improvement frameworks
Strong business acumen and leadership skills Ability to lead, develop and execute multiple, complex transformation initiatives that involve a high degree of ambiguity, self-starter, "go-getter," proven learner, and problem solver
Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
Excellent business communications and presentation skills, interpersonal and partnership skills at all levels of the organization, including working with leaders and executives
Experience with Business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik sense, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, others)
Self-motivated team player with the ability to simultaneously drive numerous projects, as well as identify, resolve, and prioritize differing business issues
Versatile and driven team player with the ability to build relationships and community with coworkers and cross-functional partners
Significant experience working in a global and matrixed organization in the technology industry, with insight and sensitivity to cultural influences
Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $130,400 - $179,300 a year. Eligible for an annual performance-based incentive plan with a target at 21% of base salary.
