Finish Trim Carpenter / Custom Cabinet Installer / Cabinet Technician

Kitchen Tune-Up Denver is seeking an Experienced Finished Trim Carpenter / Custom Cabinet Installer / Cabinet Technician to join our crew. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand with homeowners. We provide custom cabinets/cabinetry, cabinetry refacing, cabinet redooring and other home services to upgrade, update, and uplift customers' kitchens and bathrooms.

We are a growing remodeling business and will be launching a sister business (Bath Tune Up - Denver) in February 2024. This role will have a great opportunity to join our growing team as we work on kitchen and bathroom projects in the Denver area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Work with another installer on custom cabinetry, cabinet refacing, and cabinet redooring services in customers' homes.


2. Collaborate with another installer and project manager on executing projects efficiently.


3. Follow processes and steps in the installation process to ensure a quality and repeatable end product.


4. Adhere to Kitchen Tune Up Trustpoints on every job.


5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform daily clean-up.


6. Communicate daily with the project manager and customers about progress via BuilderTrend.

Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:

2. Experience running a job site, organizing team and self, and delivering projects with quality execution and on time.


3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate with other installers and project manager on project details.


4. Must be able to interact with customers professionally and friendly.

Technical Skills:

1. Excellent knowledge of cabinet construction and terminology from years of building and installing cabinets, moldings, etc. in kitchens and bathrooms.


2. Ability to layout and install new custom cabinetry in kitchens and bathrooms, including crown/stacker crown moldings, finish trim work, custom hoods, custom shelving, bookcases, etc.


3. Experience with cabinet refacing and edgebanding of new and existing cabinetry.


4. Track record of modifying/problem-solving on job sites to keep projects moving forward.


5. Able to build and install ready-to-install cabinets, assembled cabinets, and roll-out trays and accessories in cabinets.


6. Ability to safely operate power hand tools including table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun.


7. Experience with bathroom remodels is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

1. Must be authorized to work in the US.


2. Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required.
