Compensation: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year

Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager for a dynamic property management organization in the Pikesville, MD area. Summary: The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for overseeing all areas of accounts receivable, collections, billing, reporting and forecasting. Responsibilities: ? Manage a team of 2 and all aspects of accounts receivable and collections while developing, implementing and streamlining processes. ? Process and post rent payments and late fees while updating account information in the accounting system. ? Work with third party collections and attend court hearings for collections purposes as needed. ? Prepare formal correspondence, collection notices and billing to be sent to tenants. ? Analyze aging reports, determine and forecast trends and strategize collection plans. ? Resolve and answer tenant inquiries or issues related to rent payments. ? Process month-end and reconcile the general ledger. ? Train Property Managers on AR processes and procedures while ensuring operational compliance. ? Partner with management on accounts receivable initiatives, updates, and results.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. ? 5+ years of Accounts Receivable and collections management experience within residential property management industry. ? 3+ years of managerial experience with the ability to lead and motivate a small team. ? Yardi software experience highly preferred. Property Management software experience required (Yardi, OneSite, MRI, JD Edwards, Jenark). ? Hands on manager with the ability to be in the trenches with the team while also driving process improvements within the department. ? Detail oriented, organized and results driven. ? Strong communications skills both verbal and written. ? Strategic and analytical mindset with proven ability to run and analyze reports to create action plans.
