Salary: $28 - $35 per hour

Job Details
Swing Shift: M-F, 4pm - 1230am
Night Shift: M-F, 11pm - 7am
*You would train on days and then move to the shift for the regular working shift.*
The Millwright is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing heavy industrial machinery within a foundry environment, including tasks like reading blueprints, aligning equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and using specialized tools like cranes and welding equipment to ensure smooth and safe operation of the foundry's production lineswork with large, complex machinery used in the casting process, requiring a high level of mechanical knowledge and precision to maintain optimal functionality within the foundry setting.
Required skills/Experience:
- Mechanical aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including gears, bearings, hydraulics, and power transmission systems.
- Precision measurement: Ability to accurately measure and align components using tools like calipers, micrometers, and levels.
- Reading blueprints: Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics to understand machine assembly.
- Welding skills: Basic welding knowledge to perform repairs or modifications on machinery.
- Physical strength and dexterity: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and perform manual tasks with precision.
- Problem-solving abilities: Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
