PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Perform all functions of the Supply Chain process for RRG/RRS including but not limited to purchasing material, processing material, and maintaining inventory through delivery, through team effort and while prioritizing specified functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitate all aspects of order process from order entry, shipping, billing, and documentation to customers (Domestic/Exports/Inter-Company)
- Works directly with Operations to procure all materials and ensure they are processed through Ravago systems and assist with the recording of pan movements.
- Coordinates with 3rd party companies - warehousing and logistics for all issues, inventory inquiries, shipping, and billing.
- Work with Master Data in setting up / maintenance for Customers, Vendors and Materials to ensure properly set up in Ohm.
- Enter all Customer, Supplier and Carrier related claims for all categories: Administration, Delivery, Material, or Non-Quality. Work with Claims Coordinator and ensure all necessary information is provided to complete claim.
- Supports all Customers including domestic, exports and intercompany by working with sales and operations to process customer purchase orders and allocate lots and packaging to build loads and enter into OHM following standard operating procedures, which include:
- Creating/processing paperwork (Pro-Formas, Bills of Lading, Pick Lists and Purchase Orders)
- Batch Assignments
- Posting (Goods Issue) completed orders and adjusting for yields within 48 hours of shipment.
- Reporting shipment data to customers, BOLs, pictures, etc.
- Monitor credit for accounts by working with the credit department to ensure customers have proper credit for the orders they are trying to ship and never allow any order on credit hold to ship, including inter-company. Liaison with credit and customers for cash in advance orders.
- Set up orders for shipment through OTM and work with the Transportation Coordinator’s to schedule shipments with warehouses, operations, and logistics, including carriers.
- Support suppliers by processing purchase orders, including creating monthly blanket orders into the Ohm system.
- Monitor and receive inbound receipts into Ohm, including creating the transport orders and checking all paperwork for accuracy.
- Work with suppliers directly for shipment discrepancies and purchase order needs.
- Coordinate with TMS/OTM on the van inbound purchase orders to schedule the freight.
- Support operations by processing jobbing requests for repacks, washings, renames, and reclassifications for all RRG material in the Ohm system.
- Track the RRG/RRS pan fleet and all pan movements in Master Database.
- Update transport orders in Ohm for revised freight costs.
- Assist in Go-Canvas implementation and maintenance for RRS.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring all material transactions are processed in the Ohm system.
- Oversee the reconciliation of annual physical inventories and routine book to book inventories.
- Monitor the inventory to ensure materials are being processed in a timely manner.
- Schedule warehouse transfers when needed.
- All other duties as assigned – including but not limited to scanning, filing, archiving etc.

INTERNAL: Account Managers, Operations Managers, Operations, Business Managers, Sales Coordinators, Inventory Coordinators, Sales Managers, Credit, IT, Master Data, Accounting, Corporate Logistics, Product Coordinators – other Ravago legal entities
EXTERNAL: Customers, Suppliers, Carriers, warehouses, Freight forwarders. Other Ravago Service entities
KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with inventory and warehousing
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
- Strong Microsoft Excel Experience
- E-Commerce and the Internet a plus
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal problem solving skills
- Good at multitasking
- Proactive Approach and Accountability for good business practices
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
