Material Handler’s in Plymouth, MN | $18.00/Hour

Our Material Handler’s workweek is Monday to Thursday with hours starting at 06:00 am until 03:30 pm, Fridays 6am - 10am, O/T not required maybe requested. This job is a  Production type position that that pays $18.00/Hour and is a  Temp-to-hire opportunity.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities –

- Moves, stacks, loads, unload material in and about the plant while rotating stock as well. 

- Read and interpret routing sheets, enter and print Purchase Orders and Labels, and assign and enter stock locations. 

- Keep parts, shelves, and work area orderly. Inventory parts regularly, reporting any shortages. 

- Other duties as assigned. 

Equipment Used 

- Hand tools 

- Gas or electric forklifts, pallet trucks, Two-wheeled carts 

- Computer and printer 

- Barcode reading or scanning equipment

Responsibility 

- Work with direct supervision. 

- Complete job assignments on time. 

- Follow all safety rules; including using all recommended personal protection equipment. 

- Regular Attendance and Punctuality 

Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications –

- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

- 2 years related experience and/or training

- High School diploma or GED required

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts

- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions in the English language

- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations

- Ability to move products with an overhead crane, pallet jack and/or forklift

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required
