WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - Ft. Lauderdale, FL Dynamic company seeks a Warehouse Associate to embark on a successful career in our Ft. Lauderdale, FL branch. Ram Tool has a vast product line with 90,000+ unique items to sell and over 90% of deliveries made within 24 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides customer service assistance, including pulling and staging orders
- Performs bin location maintenance
- Performs tasks to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse environment
- Assists in conducting Cycle Counting to insure inventory accuracy
- Attends safety training and meetings. Follows rules and regulations
- Assists in the compliance of all OSHA/DOT regulations that are applicable, to include inspections, forms, reports, etc.
- Performs forklift inspections and completes reports
- Maintains a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel, and customers
- May perform Shipping and Receiving functions, including the following:
- Verifying inventory against purchase orders for accuracy
- Receiving inventory into the SAP software system
- Staging / Shelving inventory
- Shipping inventory to customers
- Perform other duties as directed by Ram Tool management
- Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays)
- No CDL required
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Ability to use Ram Tool's inventory management computer software system, SAP
- Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is a plus
- Basic general computer skills
- Must have a 'can do, roll your sleeves up, and get it done' attitude
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask constantly shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills
