Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Galloway Health Center is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager. We provide a wide range of nursing care and rehabilitation services for both short-term and long-term care. At Galloway Health Center, we have a professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate team that cares for our residents.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor:

1. Supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility.


2. Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant to implement recommended changes as required.


3. Monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).


4. Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report. Follow up on residents as needed.


5. Ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders, and treatment records.


6. Liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians, assessing the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hours.


7. Check to see that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioning.

Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager:

1. RN Nursing Supervisor Required experience: Long term care: 1 year.


2. Required license or certification: NJ Registered Nurse License.


3. Required experience: Nursing: 1 year.


4. RN Supervisor: 1 year.


5. Required license or certification: RN - Registered Nurse.
