We currently have an open Maintenance Mechanic (1st Shift: 8 am -- 4:30 pm) position available at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. In this role, you will perform preventative, corrective and requested maintenance for all manufacturing departments in a timely manner.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
•Repair Equipment: you will repair and maintain all equipment back to its proper working condition in a timely fashion. You will make recommendations on production machinery improvements and determine parts and equipment needed to complete job.
•Follow Instructions: you will follow all safety regulations, clean-up after each job and be on-call for after hour maintenance repairs needed.
•Ensure Compliance: you will ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements and will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards. You will maintain cleaning compliance for each piece of equipment being repaired.
Successful candidates will bring with them the following requirements and skills:
•High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
•Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred
•Ability to troubleshoot electrical work where needed
•Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
•Must have safe work ethic pertaining to working on energized and de-energized high/low voltage circuits
•Ability to be on-call after normal work hours for emergency repair calls
•Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor
