Our client in the retail industry is seeking to add a Staff Accountant to its team. This individual will be responsible for:

• Processing of Accounts Payable, including

  :

• Vendor setup, maintenance, and payment processing
• Invoice management
• Capital asset entries in fixed asset system.
• Petty cash management and generation of expense reports.

• Processing of Accounts Receivable, including:

• Setting up new customer accounts and payment applications
• Chargeback documentation

• Monthly account reconciliations
• Assisting with external audits

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 + years' experience in Accounting
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Proficiency in Excel; Pivot Tables and Vlookup expertise required
• Experience with SAP or similar system a plus
• Retail industry experience a plus
