The Product Owner will identify opportunities to leverage the CRM platform to achieve strategic objectives, with consortium partners to solicit feedback and drive alignment. Work across the consortium to prioritize features to plan a roadmap and build innovative solutions. The Product Owner will establish and own product scorecards including quantitative and qualitative impact metrics.

To be the credible voice of the business, voice of the customer and member, change owner, and facilitator for CRM product development. This is a collaborative role, which requires research and MVP Definition to look for process alignment where applicable and be able to document any differences in process that may arise.

  • Lead the development, championing and evangelizing of a product vision, strategy and roadmap for the product(s) you own, based on the needs of the business
  • Understand and communicate organization objectives, strategies and solution needs to the team to facilitate results
  • Lead collaborative conversations with partners across the consortium to understand the current business needs and pain points that must be addressed and develop business solutions that will result in an optimal member and user experience
  • Lead requirements gathering and management and prioritization of the backlog
  • Serve as the delivery manager and provide leadership and support to technical, user experience, and agile partners
  • Accountable for defining project scope, timeline, and budget and subsequently ensuring reporting for each of these project aspects is brought back to the appropriate consortium governing bodies
  • Collect and measure key product metrics against goals to inform success of each release and plan iterations accordingly
  • Translate market trends into a compelling product direction and vision
  • Leverage product data to inform product decisions – both quantitative and qualitative
  • Effectively works and manages complex issues across virtual and matrix product teams across multiple business units
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on all aspects of the CRM to represent all S3 business lines
  • Identify opportunities throughout the business, vet requirements for transition into the CRM
  • Maintain a backlog of all future opportunities for  the CRM
  • Ability to define use cases, and create user stories for future state
  • Perform gap analysis on customer data feeds using best practices and identify Gaps/propose recommended controls
  • Help negotiate priorities among stakeholders and enables the teams to succeed through the management of actionable stories and remove any blockers as they arise


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience working either as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Experience coaching Scrum and Project teams
  • CSM/CSPO certifications
  • 5 – 7 years’ working with CRM systems
  • SugarCRM experience preferred
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Product Management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to articulate and discuss possible solutions

  • Ability to prioritize workload based on department requirements and member needs
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
