Human Resources Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the first point of contact for new hires and the main contact for employee inquiries, you can expect to do the following on a daily basis:

- Serve as the face of the HR team ensuring that all interactions are positive, supportive and engaging
- Facilitate global new hire onboarding and ensure all employee data is accurately processed in the HR systems
- Work directly with new hires to answer pre-hire and day-one questions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Prepare employee contracts including drafting offer letters, confidentiality agreements, separation agreements and compensation agreements
- Manage notifications and tracking of employee data changes including communications with other departments, completing checklists, and updating systems for hires, departures, consultants, department updates, transfers and manager changes
- Manage the new hire and annual background check processes, ensuring the proper checks are completed timely and accurately
- Maintain departmental process and procedure guide to keep documentation on controls and requirements up to date and accurate
- Respond to employment verification requests both verbal and written and work with compliance for regulatory related reference checks
- Monitor system integrations for data feeds between HR systems and other internal or external systems and resolve or escalate issues
- Additional duties as assigned
In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will contribute to several ongoing and new initiatives and support employees through the lifecycle of employment. On a regular basis you will work directly with members of the HR team and have a direct impact on the department level goals and operations. Some areas where you will contribute include:
- Becoming a reporting expert – learning about the data collected in the department and the system capabilities, collaborating with other departments to understand data and reporting needs, proposing new ways to use data to inform HR recommendations and decisions, contributing to data efficiency initiatives and building and aggregating reports for internal and external distribution
- Supporting our immigration requirements – learning the required steps for supporting the visa process across multiple countries, monitoring visa expiry dates and taking initiative to ensure proper work documents are in place and/or renewed, coordinating immigration files for new hires, students and existing employees, supporting the immigration process for international employee transfers
- Maintaining the HR Intranet page – monitoring changes to employee offerings and updating the content on the pages, reviewing the content to ensure it is up to date and accurate, working with other HR team members on page designs and content development, collecting and sharing employee feedback on how to make information more relevant and accessible
- Supporting HR Compliance – administering new hire and annual harassment prevention training through our online platform, partnering with compliance to complete required cybersecurity reviews of HR vendors, supporting growth in new states or countries
- Understanding policies – working together with other members of the team to monitor the changing employment landscape and making necessary changes to our programs or policies, including documenting policies and/or hanging postings
- Supporting strategic initiatives – taking initiative to understand the broader goals of the department and actively seeking ways to contribute and grow your skills and impact
QUALIFICATIONS
Who you are:
- You’re an upcoming or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related field
- You have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- You are proactive, motivated and possesses a can-do attitude
- You’re proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
- You display a high level of discretion and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive matters
BASE SALARY RANGE:
$65,000.00
