Compensation (Range): $21-22 / hour

If you are an experienced Chassis Dynamometer Operations Specialist looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Chassis Dynamometer Operations Specialist. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Chassis Dynamometer Operations Specialist        

Job Responsibilities                                             

Your specific duties as a Chassis Dynamometer Operations Specialist will include:   

  • Set up and remove test vehicles from Chassis Dynamometer.
  • Set up emissions analyzer and vehicle trace for testing.
  • Operate monitor emission analyzers during test. 
  • Process particulate filters for analysis. (if test cell is equipped)
  • Conduct Road load derivations and validate results.
  • Ensure safety of testing and personal in test cell.
  • Maintain test cell conditions and organization.
  • Complete daily and monthly cell utilization tracking.

Job Requirements

As a Chassis Dynamometer Operations Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to work in environmental test chambers with Temperature ranges from -40C to 50C.
  • Position is for2ndt shift @ 8hrs a day with possible overtime.
  • Training will be on 1st shift for one month then move to 2nd shift.
  • Good working knowledge of MS OS. Excel, Word, Power Point. 
  • Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma minimum.
  • AA or trade school preferred.
  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience
  • Experience using chassis dynamometers and test analyzers. ( Horiba, AVL, MAHA, etc)
