Description

The Executive Talent Acquisition Analyst will provide strategic and business critical insights, content and “hands on” support to the Danaher Executive Talent Acquisition (ETA) team. In this fast-paced environment, s/he will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to executive search projects in diverse industry and functional areas, which will require both proactive and reactive research efforts. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high-level candidate name generation and organization chart creation/talent mapping by leveraging external resources in the public domain (including social media and paid news/information subscriptions). 
  • Participate in kick-off meetings with ETA team members to assist in the development of the search strategy and target company list. Participate in sessions by asking questions, sharing market data and strengthening the content of the conversation.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape and maintain current awareness of news, industry trends and issues associated with top competitors across all of Danaher’s reporting segments and share relevant information with ETA and other teams accordingly. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of Danaher’s culture and core competencies and leverage that knowledge to identify top external executive talent for current and future executive-level positions. 
  • Manage ETA’s corporate resource library to determine the best paid subscription and research resources for the team. 

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in executive search, specifically name generation and market research preferred. Relevant corporate recruiting experience or consulting experience also relevant. 
  • Experience conducting and synthesizing research that includes financial and/or statistical analyst of a business, industry or market. 
  • Familiarity with tools such business reference resources, such as Hoovers, LexisNexis, Dow Jones DJX, Leadership Libraries in a corporate or consulting setting. 
  • Familiarity with CRM or ATS systems to track prospects and candidates preferred. 
  • Up to date on Social Media and Digital recruiting tools and trends. 
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively using Excel, Word and PowerPoint to present complex information.
  • Ability to create and rollout processes and techniques for advanced research.
  • An undergraduate degree is required.

  • Leveraging knowledge of an industry/function/sector and use appropriate resources to gather relevant information.
  • Listening and asking insightful questions.
  • Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop and deliver concise and persuasive presentations.
Intellectual Curiosity: Given the nature of this role, this individual will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of business across different industries. To be successful, s/he will need to:
  • Gain a clear understanding of how global companies executive business with various functions and executives. S/he will also demonstrate an appreciation for cultural nuances within global companies.
  • Have strong intellectual abilities – strategic analytical and conceptual with good judgement; be capable of analyzing and synthesizing data. 
  • Think proactively, demonstrating a strong ability to anticipate the ETA team’s search needs and prioritize time accordingly.
