The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for delivering on key talent priorities with emphasis on employee engagement, performance development, onboarding and integration and employee relations matters. The Human Resources Specialist effectively builds and manages relationships with leaders and employees to drive culture and ensure the success of each employee. The Human Resources Specialist possesses a solid understanding of the overall business strategy and needs of the practice as well as industry, solution and geographical trends. The Human Resources Specialist must demonstrate excellent client service, technical ability and execution of end-to-end projects while developing their own leadership style. The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for delivering human resources support across the full talent lifecycle for assigned employees. Representative duties are outlined below. In addition, the Human Resources Senior Specialist will participate in broader initiatives to support regional / national initiatives as required. Here are a few responsibilities: Actively engage in the performance management and compensation processes. Coach and advise our managers on how to deliver feedback. Collaborate with Talent Management to strategically assign practice professionals to client-facing and other roles. Team with broad Talent Management team on how to create successful project environments. Coordinate the on-boarding of new employees into the organization, by teaming with Recruiting to ensure a smooth transition from offer process to orientation day. Conduct employee exit interviews and document areas for improvement, as well as, manage attrition reporting. Work with leaders to develop retention strategies. Assist with employee actions including new hires, transfers, leaves of absence and terminations. Action any findings resulting from the meetings. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in human resources or a related field, preferably in professional services. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Management, Communications, English, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance); PHR is beneficial. Negotiation and conflict resolutions skills. Ability to function operationally while assisting with strategic projects and initiatives. Creative problem-solving skills; ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues. Identify and resolve or elevate operational and human resources issues appropriately. Interact with all levels of personnel and work well under pressure. Professionalism to work with confidential information. Ability to multi-task and bring multiple projects to completion and within budgeted timeframe.
