Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner with expertise in the healthcare sector. The perfect candidate will have a robust background in healthcare, a thorough understanding of healthcare systems and regulations, and a proven history of managing product development within an agile framework. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product vision, collecting and prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch healthcare solutions that address market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Vision and Strategy:
Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and market
needs.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the
healthcare sector.
2.Requirement Gathering and Prioritization:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, clients, and internal teams, to gather and document detailed product requirements.
Prioritize features and functionalities based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
3. Backlog Management:
Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized and
transparent to all stakeholders.
Work with the development team to refine and elaborate backlog items for clarity and
actionable detail.
4.User Stories and Acceptance Criteria:
Write clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Ensure user stories are aligned with the overall product vision and goals. 5. Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, changes, and key decisions.
Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the product. 6. Product Launch and Post-Launch Support:
Coordinate product launches, including planning, execution, and communication.
Monitor product performance post-launch and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the healthcare domain.
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and industry standards.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner)
CMS Compliance & Medicare
Healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7,
FHIR).
Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
