Director of HR

Juno Search Partners Brooklyn, NY Full-Time
Our client, an entertainment company in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to add to their growing team. This role is responsible for directing the HR functions of the company across multiple locations, developing Human Resources policies, and providing solutions to arising conflicts or issues. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong HR management background, is energetic, and thrives in a collaborative work environment.

Duties include, but not limited to:

* Develop and direct recruitment, talent, and team engagement strategies
* Develop and promote company values and culture in coordination with Executives
* Plan, select and direct implementation of Benefits programs
* Oversee, recommend, and coordinate employee relations resolutions in alignment with the company's policies and applicable laws
* Provide leaders with proactive, consultative, and strategic advice related to policies, procedures, and best practices
* Prepare and issue official company manuals establishing policies
* Monitor the implementation and communication of current legal and compliance requirements under federal, state, and local regulations and anticipate impacts of new legislation
* Consult and coordinate with legal counsel when necessary
* Prepare and submit reports required by law to be filed with appropriate agencies
* Manage the Human Resources Team across multiple company locations
* Assist in the development of the annual labor cost budget
* Oversee the maintenance and integrity of employees' data in the Human Resource Information System
* Lead the search and the implementation of innovative, effective, and efficient HRSI solutions


* Master of Science; in Human Resources/Business preferred
* Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources Management
* Proficiency in legislation and regulations relating to HR issues
* SHRM - CP or PHR certification
* Knowledge of Paychex, ATS, and Time Management Systems
* Proficiency in legislation and regulations relating to HR issues
* Enthusiasm, energy, and positive attitude
* Teamwork, continuous improvement, and process-based culture
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to work a flexible schedule which may occasionally include weekends
