CGI has a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Consulting Services in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual with business development and account management experience in the public sector. You should have significant executive relationships with the State of North Carolina government and public clients and experience managing client relationships where technology consulting work is being performed. You will be working to drive and grow our business and expand in existing accounts.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts within government and public sector accounts
Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings, leveraging your experience and creativity to design, propose and execute solutions for complex client problems in advanced business and technology environments.
Have overall accountability for the winning of competitive proposals.
Work well in collaborative environments
Lead a team of professionals both direct reports and those across CGI.
Contribute to business strategy and budget planning.
Ensure success of engagements.
Manage client expectations
Drive engagement revenue and profitability.
Bring deep knowledge, be integrated into the marketplace and be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Min 10+ years of IT and Consulting Services experience.
Deep understanding and knowledge of the government and public sector markets
Ability to interact with C-Level decision makers.
Results oriented business leader with solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&Ls, and complex pricing models.
Business development including strategic sales planning.
Client engagement management and relationship building.
Strong team-building skills.
A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect; superior conceptual thinking as well as analytical and problem solving skills.
Be independent, self-starting, and be able to stay calm under the pressures of multiple deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
Proven record of creating and maintaining business partnerships and relationships.
