We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst!

We are seeking an individual who wants to make an impact on the future of a successful, growing property & casualty insurance company.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with insurance industry products, processes, and applications.
  • Review business requirements and specifications and collaborate with Business Analyst and/or Subject Matter Expert, analyzing all information gathered to expand and validate understanding of requested software development.
  • Complete a test plan matrix for each assigned project, including comprehensive functional and content testing based on review of business requirements and collaboration with BA and/or SME. Interact with software developers to understand technical tools, approach, and specifications to fulfill requirements. Create and execute test cases as identified on test plan matrix, documenting results in identified tools with an adequate level of detail for developers to correct issues found. End-result should be thorough user acceptance testing of business functionality.
  • Develop and improve repeatable and reliable quality and testing processes and templates that function well within the broader SDLC process.
  • Guide internal and external testing resources to support multiple in-flight projects simultaneously.
  • Participate in assigned projects and assigned roles; actively improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by documenting and enhancing to support audit initiatives and fast and successful development projects. Create and improve test plan matrix templates and test cases for use enterprise-wide.
  • Consider automated testing tools, implementing those that can increase the quality of software releases and reduce the time necessary to perform comprehensive regression tests.
  • Manage other quality analysts, whether staff or contractors, as assigned to understand and adhere to SDLC processes, templates, and procedures.
  • Training: Provide end-user training on applications and IT processes.
  • Leadership: Fulfill position requirements with leadership based on an attitude of humility and confidence.

Requirements:

  • College degree or comparable work experience.
  • Proficient interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel when necessary.
