Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Lead IT Business Systems Analyst for a contract position in Appleton, WI. Opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: Seeking a Lead Business Analyst to participate in the implementation of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM), previously named Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). Key focus is to represent the ServiceNow Platform Team who owns the ServiceNow platform to ensure alignment and compliance to the existing governance model, defined standards and ServiceNow Best Practices. Key deliverable in addition to the implementation is the establishment of the sustaining operational support model post project. Business Analyst will partner with the Information Security Team and external implementation partner on behalf of the ServiceNow Platform Team. This includes managing and coordinating platform related activities and workloads with the ServiceNow Architect, Technical Engineer, and Configuration Manager. Knowledge and experience with the ServiceNow Platform and Integrated Risk Management Module is essential. Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow Test Management is a plus.
Capture and analyze business systems requirements that specify how a business system supports/enables work activity in a business process
Translate business requirements into technical requirements
Analyze data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
Partnering with business and IT partners to drive business value and continuous improvement
Capture requirements by conducting interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation
Balance multiple deadlines and prioritize key deliverables
Tackle technical problems and recommend solutions
Create risk-based testing strategies to include functional, non-functional and performance testing
Develop and deploy test scripts to refine and debug software
Work with business and software developers to identify and resolve issues
Utilize increased understanding of industry trends, business processes and systems capabilities to recommend and lead process improvement and business value discussions
Partner with other IT BSAs and Solution Architects to ensure end-to-end solutions across teams or organizational boundaries are aligned and will meet business needs
Partner with enterprise business architects to recommend solution designs using existing and new technologies in alignment with enterprise architecture vision
Support testing and facilitate communication to stakeholders
Document specifications and mapping requirements for workflows, reports, data, and system integrations
Create reports, dashboards and author technical documentation to support system configuration, business continuity planning and standard operating procedures
Assist in preparation of end-use documentation and participate in training as needed
Support software deployment activities
Significant experience working with ServiceNow Products:
ITSM applications suite
Agile and Demand
Integrated Risk Management (Governance, Risk and Compliance)
Process Mapping and workflow design experience.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent organization and workload management skills.
Ability to adapt to fluid situations, quick self-learner, and the ability to manage through complexity.
Optimizes work processes through growth in understanding of business requirements, processes, and software.
Experience with Productivity and collaboration tools such as O365, TEAMS and Visio
Experience implementing or supporting 2 or more ServiceNow business applications such as ITSM, TBM, Vulnerability Response, Asset Management
ServiceNow Admin experience
