Customer Service Rep

Summary:

Our client located on the west side of Madison has an immediate need for a temp to hire Customer Service Representative opportunity. This position will operate 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Candidates who have at least one year of prior customer service experience are preferred. This role offers a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, apply today for consideration!

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to phone calls in a timely fashion, answer inquiries and direct calls as needed
  • Maintain a current and ongoing working knowledge of product and regulation information
  • Establish rapport and trust with all customers, and ensure a quality and meaningful experience
  • Participate and contribute during scheduled team meetings
  • Safeguard confidentiality, privacy and security of organization and customer (PHI) information
    Train and mentor new hires within areas of expertise
  • Demonstrate core values and behavioral competencies outlined by the company
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience required
  • Previous experience providing external services preferred
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of COBRA preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining integrity and strong reasoning skills
  • Willingness to submit to a background check
