Customer Service Support Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Customer Service Support Specialist in San Diego, California (CA). Essential Functions:
  • Answers phone inquiries from internal and external customers for product information, phone orders and order status and shipment tracking and delivery confirmation
  • Responsible for primarily processing domestic customer orders, credits and returns
  • Promptly researching and resolving customer inquiries
  • Maintaining and updating data in ERP and Virena systems
  • Maintaining daily operations of routine work, new assignments and special projects
  • Processing and sending reports to cross functional teams
  • Inputs orders received via EDI, fax, phone and e-mail
  • Inputs Technical Support free goods orders, credits and returns
  • Processes credits, replacements and returns
  • Coordinates shipment logistics from multiple warehouses
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries such, shipment discrepancies, credits, returns and replacements
  • Coordinates special approvals with customers (ex. short dated product approval)
  • Fulfill literature requests and customer promotions
  • Manages and maintains distributor and end use customer information (pricing, addresses, etc.) in our ERP and company network systems
  • Facilitates creating new customer accounts in our ERP system
  • Assist with creating and maintaining customer accounts related to instrument tracking in our ERP and Virena systems
  • Provides customer support for internal departments
  • Responsible for providing scheduled and ad hoc reports to cross functional departments
  • Provides support for ad hoc request and other ancillary duties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED / equivalent
  • 6+ years of related customer service experience including data entry and order processing
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Customer Service leadership experience preferred
