UST Global® is looking for Oracle Senior DBA to support critical production systems to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must possess 10-15 years of Oracle DBA Experience with excellent background on Oracle DBA with Golden Gate, Exadata, RAC, Dataguard experience. Hands on Experience on 12C CDB/PDB and Container architecture. 19C experience is plus. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with Application and other backline teams

Responsibilities

As an Sr. Oracle DBA, you will be responsible

• Expertise in Installations and Upgrades in UNIX and Windows environments, should have knowledge in manual upgrade
• Expertise in database patching including CPU/PSU
• Experience in capacity planning on Production environment
• Participation in the review of ETL processes and recommendations regarding DBMS load strategies.
• Support of development, test and production database environments.
• Management and recommendation of DBMS software including upgrades, patches, maintenance releases, incidents, and tech alerts.
• Recommendation and implementations regarding new database features as they become available.
• Establish and monitor corporate database standards, including disaster recovery, security, and data retention.
• Management of database configurations, schemas and space.
• Rollout new application code/builds in various production and non-production environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot database issues and provide proactive recommendations on outage avoidance.
• Ability to determine and document root cause analysis and corrective action plans.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of Oracle DBA Experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands on Experience on Golden Gate.
• Very Strong in Performance tuning and trouble shooting.
• Hands on Experience on 12C CDB/PDB. Container architecture.
• 19C experience is plus.
• At least 3 years of experience on Oracle Exadata.
• Knowledge of Exadata underlying features is must.
• Oracle database administrative experience with versions 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g, 19c
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Oracle DBA certification required.
• RAC experience required.
• Flexibility to work on weekends on need basis
