About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Risk Specialist in Corporate Risk as part of Credit Card Account Management Execution. This role closely interacts across all areas of the credit organization to ensure that all requirements have been met in your systems solution design. Your work should result in solution designs that are efficient and scalable, allow speed to market, and have the flexibility to handle both foreseen and unforeseen events.

In this role, you will:

This position will require you to familiarize yourself with credit policy, existing Credit Risk Decisioning rules and associated decisioning data. You will be a key contributor who will
  • Actively participate in cross-team meetings and proactively engage with key partners/stakeholders,
  • Design effective & efficient decision engine solutions,
  • Implement complex credit strategies into an automated decision engine, and
  • Provide research and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
To be considered, you must have demonstrated experience in the implementation of business solutions using business rules software or an adaptive control system. To be successful you will:
  • Have prior experience developing in an automated decision engine such as Blaze, PowerCurve, Fico Platform, Zoot, or Provenir
  • Leverage your knowledge of and dependencies between the decision systems, source data, business processes, and lending products
  • Have a passion for producing clean, error-free code and proactively identifying potential issues
  • Foster professional and effective working relationships with key partners/stakeholders,
  • Maintain timely, consistent and professional communications,
  • Support our project management methodology, and
  • model a collaborative, communicative and positive work approach.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 2+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of experience and proven rules development knowledge using an automated decisioning system or business rules management platform such as Zoot, Blaze, Fico Platform, PowerCurve, or other application processing and decisioning platforms (e.g. Provenir, Triad, ACAPS, Drools)
Desired Qualifications:
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in computer science, operations research or engineering
  • Agile experience a plus
  • Demonstrated record of developing creative and innovative solutions to common business problems
  • Drives for results, is aware of deadlines, meets commitments, able to respond effectively to shifting priorities.
  • Builds relationships through collaboration and teamwork
  • Displays high integrity and honesty
  • Experience with credit bureau data from Experian, Equifax and TransUnion
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of an analytic or cross-disciplined team
