Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview Stellar Solutions is seeking a System Engineer to support the coordination of operational thread specific test planning, scheduling and resource allocation for subsequent integration with other Payload Iteration (PI) and System Validation (VI) test activities
Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications As an Operational Thread Lead SETA you will:
• Support Flight Operations Division developing thread specific scenarios for Operational Requirements Demonstration (OCDs) used to validate Concept of Operations (CONOP) and push the limits of the payload being tested
• Perform as the Transition Implementation Plan (TIP) lead for the Search and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) mission
• Manage the S&TI Team to ensure accompishment of objectives
• Monitor, update and manage the S&TI schedule
• Develop and coordinate teasking requirements, and deliver the consolidated tasking to the TIP mission planners
• Conduct TIP test events to take the system from payload Ready For Use to Initial Operational Capability (IOC) and Final Operational Capbility (FOC) as applicable by payload
• Develop and implement system integration plans as required
• Track and status all TIP discrepancy Reports (DRs)
• Coordinate the testing, analysis and reporting required to demonstrate satisfaction of respective thread metrics
• Identify new interfaces that require testing
• Identify all necessary launch and mission test events
• Provide long-term, on-site system integration engineering support to pre- and post-launch planning, operations integration and readiness assessment
• Work with the PI and SV TIP teams, collection and ground software representatives to identify calibration/characterization anomalies, isolate the root causes, fix the problems, test the solutions and implement fixes
• Provide analysis of test data, identify problems, provide impact assessments, and propose resolution approaches
• Develop concrete closure plans and explore alternative approaches
• Define the methods for monitoring and controlling risks Required Skills
• Knowledge of customer's space and ground domain mission and technical capabilities
• Demonstrated experience with government customer's systems engineering, mission readiness, and project management methods, familiar with site mission and ground systems integration processes
• Systems engineering background
• Experience in requirements definition, system architectures, systems analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation, and verification
• Polished communicator and proven collaborator; demonstrated ability to coordinate across all levels of government to ensure contracts effectively deliver required services and capabilities
• Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics Desired Qualifications
• Experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs
• Experience in architecture management, baseline audit, and verification
• Space and ground domain knowledge in customer mission technical capabilities and performance
• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) field required (contractual requirement) and nine (9) years or more relevant experience; master's and seven (7) years or more experience

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph completed within past 10 years is required to apply The typical pay range for this position is USD $120,000 - $150,000 per year, total package
Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package)
Deliverable(s) Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
