Job Description
A Prominent NYC restaurant Group seeks an experienced Events Sales Specialist. Qualified candidates will be in charge of all aspects of event execution and client management.  The chosen Candidate excels in managing multiple event timelines, strong inter-personal skillsets; exceptional attention to detail, and works well independently and within a team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to 

  • Promoting  an attitude of pride, cooperation, and success of the restaurant
  • Strong inter-personal relationship skills
  • Coordinating all Events/Catering services (venue location, flowers, entertainment, decoration, A&V, etc.) to provide complete client satisfaction
  • Managing sales and liaising with existing and potential clients
  • Achieving  growth and hit sales targets and monthly budgets 
  • Coordinating events and ensure superb event execution
  • Maintaining accurate reports and following  up in a timely manner with internal and external requests
  • Verbally communicates with guests/existing and potential clients in person and on the phone 
  • Reviewing  Catering menus and offerings 
  • Developing  and maintaining  relationship with new clients  and vendors
  • Solving all customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
This is a full-time position. Salary is generous but DOE Commissions. 
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Outstanding references from both current and previous employers
  • Previous experience working for high end restaurants around the area required 
  • Pre-existing book of clients a huge plus 
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Must be hands-on with a willingness to help out wherever needed 
  • Understands that the utmost in confidentiality and discretion is required
  • A "can do" work ethic and the ability to be a role model
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid  US work authorization
